ScholarLand Tutoring Center was founded on the basis of setting a strong foundation in order to help children at any age achieve their goals and empower them to reach their fullest potential. We believe that learning is not a one-size-fits-all. We encourage children to think, grow, learn, and explore. Our unique approach allows us to target any skill that is needed to be worked on and help children gain the knowledge and skills they need in order to succeed. We believe that every student learns differently so the team provides encouragement and puts emphasis on growth, patience, structure, and confidence. We design our sessions to be effective, engaging, and tailored to each individual student’s needs.

Meet The Team at ScholarLand NYC
Isabella Mordechaieb is the founder and CEO of ScholarLand Tutoring Center. As an educator, Isabella was always determined to create a space where every student should feel supported, and empowered to reach their fullest potential. She began working with children at a young age and dedicates her time to help transform a child’s confidence and academic journey with attention, patience, and the right approach. Isabella has completed her masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology. Isabella is a dedicated speech-language pathologist specializing in working with young children on the autism spectrum. With a deep understanding of both communication challenges and building on meaningful connections through individualized therapy. At ScholarLand, we established a community that believes that every learner has an ability to grow. Our center is a result of that vision and our goal is to empower children to reach their fullest potential.
Jonathan is a tutor at ScholarLand who loves working with kids and helping them grow both inside and outside the classroom. He enjoys seeing students gain confidence and take on new challenges with a positive attitude. Jonathan is always ready to offer support, encouragement, and a fun learning environment. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games and spending time with computers, and coding. Jonathan has been a part of the ScholarLand team for 2 years and enjoys working with the students and seeing their progress.
Shelly is a tutor at ScholarLand and has been a part of the team for 3 years. Shelly believes that this is a place where students are allowed to be themselves, stay curious, enjoy learning, and feel like we are there every step of the way of their academic journey. Shelly loves helping children thrive academically and she aims to make a difference in their learning experiences. What sets Shelly apart is her ability to connect with students, understand their learning styles and adapt to their needs to help the student master foundational concepts, or prepare for anything they need help in!
Liron is an after school teacher here at ScholarLand. Liron is a compassionate and energetic educator who excels with building a strong connection, and trusting relationship with the student to help them succeed. At ScholarLand, Liron creates a supportive environment where the student feels safe, confident, and excited to learn. With a natural talent for connecting with our students, Liron focuses on engaging with children to hone in on their academic skills, whether that be with homework, leading with hands-on activities, or being a positive presence,
Sean is a tutor at ScholarLand. He brings patience, positivity, and a strong academic background to every session at our tutoring center. With a passion for helping students build confidence in their abilities, Sean works with his students to help break down complex concepts and make learning accessible and engaging. Whether he's helping with math, reading, or test prep, Sean is known for his supportive approach and commitment to student growth. Sean believes that learning should be both challenging and enjoyable. He takes the time to build strong connections with each student, fostering trust and confidence along the way.
